Valentine's day is coming soon...

It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other.

My valentine's day on 2010 was really a memorable one.
At that point of time, I was having some rs issues. Valentine's day also fell on CNY day 1.
So I was feeling a little down and love knew I was having some rs issues by then.

So he asked me out on that day just to meet up and get a breather.
So I went down from aunt's place to meet up.
(Somehow, everything that happened seems so vivid in my mind now. ^^)
Yup, I remembered we met up at city hall area, we walked to the River Hongbao to take some pictures
and caught the movie "Valentine's day"

That's my first date with love =D

2011 14th Feb - Love had to work on this day.
So we just had dinner together and watched "Just go with it"

But this year .. it's his off day ^^
Looking forward to spend another memorable Vday with him.

Had CNY dinner with my darlings at TAO's.

The 7 course meal I ate.

Japanese fish Consomme , Cheese gratin, Jap cold soba noodles topped with topshell,

King oyster mushrooms.

Followed by my main entree- Steak, Iced rose apple tea and lastly my Creme Brulee

The steak is awesome. Finally I found a steak taste better than Astons.

So happy !

Music has the great power to overcome obstacles as well as time, and 2NE1, Big Bang, Se7en, Gummy, Jinusean, Psy and Tablo, the newest addition to the YG Entertainment family, came together to become one through music.

The YG artists gathered on the Gymnastics Stadium stage at Seoul’s Olympic Park on December 4 for the 15th Anniversary YG Family Concert, where they performed for a crowd of 13,000 screaming fans.

2NE1 opened the show with hit song Fire before captivating the audience with performances of Can’t Nobody and Go Away. Member Sandara Park couldn’t contain her joy when she said, “I can’t tell if it’s a dream or reality that 2NE1 is taking part in YG Family’s 15th anniversary.”

The baton was then passed off to group Big Bang, who took to the stage for the first time together as five members in eight months. This marked the first time all of the members were greeting fans as one group since Daesung’s car accident and since G-Dragon was charged for marijuana use.

The concert was meaningful not only for the Big Bang members but for the group’s fans as well. Taeyang said, “It’s been a while since the five Big Bang members stood on stage together, and I’m glad we could stand together at a meaningful place like the YG Family 15th anniversary concert. I hope we can be together for not only the 15th anniversary but for the 20th anniversary as well.”

Daesung and G-Dragon, who returned to the stage after their fair share of ups and downs, shared their honest feelings about standing on stage again.

“It’s been a really long time since I’ve stood on stage,” said Daesung. “I realized how precious music and the stage is through being able to stand at this concert and the good times I’ve had in the past. Thank you.”

G-Dragon said, “I’m sorry for making everyone worry for one reason or another. I will make sure something like this doesn’t happen again,” before adding, “I will make up for it with good music.”

The glue of YG, Gummy and Se7en, were applauded for their colorful performances. The return of YG’s original hip hop duo Jinusean, which also celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, made the occasion all the more special. Member Sean said, “Welcome to YG’s 15th anniversary concert. This is a particularly meaningful stage for us.” He continued, “Just as it is YG Family’s 15th anniversary, it has been 15 years for Jinusean as well. Thank you for supporting us from the beginning and for cheering on YG Family’s success.”

Tablo, who was the target of a witch hunt concerning his academic credentials, then moved fans with performances of his hit songs. He introduced himself, saying “This is Tablo of Epik High, the youngest member and late child of YG, who is responsible for the lonely and melancholy winter air in a warm familial atmosphere.” He then said, “It’s been a while since I’ve seen you all from the stage (loud cheers), and I think it’s for this reason that I began doing music. Thank you very much.”

One of the many highlights of the night was Psy’s performance. He kicked off his set with Right Now before getting the fans on their feet with Celebrity, Shake It, Paradise and Champion.

The collaboration performances between the YG artists, however, proved to be the most memorable. Se7en and G-Dragon made surprise appearances during Jinusean’s performance, adding to the energy onstage. Se7en, Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung also surprised fans with a performance of 2NE1’s Lonely, while Sandara Park joined Psy on stage for Celebrity, causing fans to burst into laughter with her ‘Psy dance.’ It was a show that would have been difficult to witness anywhere else.

YG will take the family concert abroad for the first time in five years, since its overseas 10th anniversary concert. Japanese record label and Avex, who has formed YGEX in partnership with YG Entertainment, will bring the concert to Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on January 7 and 8 before making a stop at the Saitama Super Arena on January 21 and 22.

this time I didn't take much photos of myeong-dong, fingers too stiff due to the cold,
carried bags and bags of skincare and cosmetics.

Anyway, I love love love this place. Fantastic place to shop, eat and chill at.
shops open 24 hrs.

Many skincare brands to choose from, till I can't make up my mind to buy from which store.

Nature republic, The face shop, Tony Moly, It's skin, Innisfree, Etude house, Skinfood, Holika Holika, Bavi Phat, Beauty Credit, Laneige and etc.

I have tried all their products except for It's skin, holika holika and Bavi phat.

The food I ate for the past few days. I missed most is the food. Sigh.

Stir fried octopus with rice cakes, bulgogi in hot pepper sauce, steam egg with their regular side dishes. One word awesome !~

Their chicken cutlet is huge and taste very different from the ones I ate in Sg

and I went down to meet him .. acting very coolly...

He said " Haiya.. wont sold out so fast.. I bet with you we still can get the first 2 rows"

I was like " Dont be an ass, I heard its already sold out.. blah blah blah .."

I was getting on my nerves..

and then he was ignoring me...

a few minutes later, he took out the tickets and pass it to me.

"See... I told u, we sure can get good seats.. dont believe me..TSK"

I dont know to cry or laugh...

Good thing is that he initiated to buy by going to sistic outlet early in the morning to queue up for the tickets and surprise me.

Bad thing is ... he pissed me off badly earlier.. I swear I almost strangled him..

I am always taught that time waits for no man.

For the past few days,I have setting my goals in terms of financially and other major plans in life.

I know for some people, they just believe in the present. For the future, they just goes along.

My career has nurtured me into someone, who always need a constant reminder for plans.

Building a family of your own its not that easy.

I believe in independence and depending on your own to get results.

I rather suffer now than to suffer later although I know many people choose to enjoy now and suffer later.

Thanks to my parents, I have learnt not to take things for granted. I am proud that I never once ask my parents to get stuffs for me ( from all my school fees to IT gadgets to my trips overseas ) although they can very much provide la...

Such valuable lessons has taught me not give up on my goals I set out to achieve for no matter how hard it gets. Seriously, my life for the past few years has not been that smooth as most people see it to be. Working and studying at the same time is no joke. With extra workload to bring home to do and assignments. On top of that, I know I have this thing in me which I need to complete my work perfectly. I get very anal if I see don't see all As in my cert.( This only relates to my course that I am studying, fuck care about PSLE and O levels, cause the subjects do not interest me at all and it makes no sense at that point of time )

This also explains why, most of the time I am late when I meet people. I need to make sure I look perfectly OK/ Good to step out of the house, if not I rather don't go out.

Ya, that's the irritating side of me. Sometimes, I also get very irritated of myself too. Why am I so demanding?

Once, a fortune teller told me, I am a kind of person who sets very high standard of oneself, I also demand the people around me to have such high standards. He said to me: Its not a good thing, cause in the end it will make me very tired and I will get very moody and depressed if the people around me cant meet the standards I am looking for. At times, I will get very irritated cause I would feel if why I can do it, why can't you? If I can manage my time well with all my work and studies and assignments I have, don't tell me with one of this you have, you can't manage your time at all.

So, I am still learning ... learning to be more patient with myself and the people around me.

Chatted with stan just now and he made me feel so motivated to do things better at the point where I am so frustrated and felt like giving up. Thanks baby. Life is never easy for me, as well as yours. To lead a comfortable life for us in the future, you made a point to work really hard and cheering me on. You never give up on me even when I almost gave up on myself. I am blessed for having a matured man in my life for me to depend on. For the past few months, I have been struggling with my assignments. My mood and temper have been the nastiest, yet u tolerated and listened to my rants. I received my results for my past module and I got a distinction again. I know it's not something that great but I really feel that my hard work has been paid off well. Once again, thank you baby for your patience n encouragement, it really brought me this far :)

Idol singer, Jo Kwon’s childhood story was truly touching.

“When I was young all I could do for my parents was restraining myself even if there was something I really wanted to eat…”

In the recently published book “Sebakwi - The Family Story”, Jo Kwon honestly revealed the story from his childhood. At times when business was tough and economy was bad all little Jo Kwon could do for his parents was to make sure he did not complain or behave like a spoiled child. “Even if I wanted something I tried my best to pretend not to care. Even if I wanted to eat something I had to hold back. That was the only thing little Kwon could do for his parents,” Jo Kwon confessed.

And the “ddokbokki restaurant story” made fans cry.

Jo Kwon explained, “Every time I came home from school, nobody was around. Both of my parents worked and sometimes they would come home passed dinner time. My stomach would grumble. In the morning when my mother was about to go to work I remember she said, ‘Kwon-ah, if you are hungry, go to the restaurant across the street and eat whatever you want to eat. Tell the owner that Mommy will pay for it later, okay?’ So for a few days I went to the restaurant to eat on credit and the owner started to look at me differently. She said, ‘Why hasn’t you mother paid up? It’s been quite a while. Want to ask for a credit in a ddokbokki restaurant?’ All the kids in the neighborhood were looking at me so I stuffed a whole roll of kimbap down my throat and ran away. After that I was afraid the owner might come and look for me so I hid. I thought, ‘Today I will just have to wait until Mommy comes home’, so I sat on the stairs and waited for my mother. The wait was long and cold.”

Jo Kwon also revealed the anxious time when he lived as a trainee for 8 years and his happiness when he received his first income.

“The amount printed in my bank book was 200,000 won. It was the first income I earned after I debuted as a singer. I held the bank book and thought about what I should do with it. Then I decided to settle the cell phone fee and called my mother. ‘Mom, I used my first income to settle the cell phone fee! Isn’t it great?’ And my mother cried.” So many readers and fans cried reading that part.
